Which standards can be combined in an IMS?
Most ISO management system standards share the same structure, so they combine well. The most common combination is ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001, but ISO 27001, 55001, 22000 and others can be integrated too.
Does an integrated system mean fewer documents?
Yes. Shared requirements like document control, training, internal audit and management review are written once instead of three times. Standard-specific procedures stay separate.
Can we have one certification audit for all three standards?
Many certification bodies offer combined audits for integrated systems, so you may have one audit team and one visit covering all three. We help arrange this, subject to your certification body's audit plan.
Will an IMS reduce the cost of certification?
It can. Combined audits may need fewer audit days than three separate audits, and you maintain one system instead of three. The exact saving depends on your certification body and scope.
Do we need to implement all three standards at once?
No. You can start with one standard and add the others later. But implementing them together is usually much more cost-effective. Shared requirements like document control, training, internal audit and management review are built once, your team learns one system, and combined certification audits typically cost less than three separate ones.
